About Bluestem:

Jody Portuese graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
A quick shift in career plans took her back to college. She earned a Master of Business
Administration degree from Wichita State University. Professional responsibilities with corporations
in both Wichita and Manhattan have grounded her management strategies in the real world.

1990 saw the realization of a dream as Ms. Portuese organized Bluestem Financial Management.
This firm allows her to use her strong educational and practical background to assist business
owners in the most effective management of their financial resources.

In addition to consulting on financial matters ad preparing financial statements, Ms.Portuese
assists clients in a broad range of arenas. Her Master's degree emphasizes human resource
